    Re: Joe!!(Constitution, whats that?)

I never understand people that "DONT GET IT" its not that hard...to understand....disarming the people in history has always turned out bad for the people.....not enough people remeber enough of the past or learn enough of the past....to make sure they dont make the same mistakes people made through out history

    Re: Joe!!(Constitution, whats that?)

These people want to forget 9-11, and go on with their simple lives, letting their guard down, even their awareness of whats going on and their surroundings. No more is there "we cant be attacked on our soil, this is the United States". It happened, right under our noses. Several times. You are right, people just don't get it. History is the best teacher, but people go through everyday life with blinders on, with their heads in the clouds.

An attempt to disarm the people would erupt into civil, riot-like dis-order. This country has enough on its plate with terrorists, it should not be worrying about taking guns away from law abiding citizens, what are they thinking!! Priorities!!

BTW, I was taken off the TO because there were too many Corpsmen in the unit. Now I am trying to deploy as an IA (individual augmentee). But the Navy is slow and the USMC slower.

Re: tacrail is ready!!!/wheres my BOOK!

    Hey GN,

I havent' forgotten you brother......... we are done building the Mdl. B version. We just had a small issue with the "insert to protect the pistols finish."  Not that it wasnt working, it worked [protect finish] just fine, but it was a "slick material" that would not allow for great "grip". We didn't even need great grip, just not slick! :)

So anyway, as soon as we get them back from anodizing, and place the proper insert in, you'll be stroking your new toy!

Im really surprised they werent desperate to ship you out? everyone and their mom is getting sent over now........? Don't complain bud, at least you a$$ isnt gettin shot at here!

    Best, Dave

    SOCOM READY??

    Attachment: SOCOM2.jpg

    Hey,

All along, this image denotes what I see the tacrail being used for. Not totally, I mean, I 'd like to see folks with 92FS/M9 < that have the curved trigger guard front.> use it for sport shooting, home defense and I can tell you this.......After T & E this, I wouldnt want to be "in the dark without the TacRail...( * Most gunfights happen at dusk, dawn or night.) Just wanted to share what I think would be........umm, ghostlike? ( if the leds, bulbs were switched for IR...... :)

Brings a whole new meaning to the song "Silent Night"...............Best, Dave

Re: Well Marine? What say you? : )

Took the TR and my 92Compgun to the range today. Mounting was a breeze, very solid and secure. I was running a timed steel shoot, 5 round plates. I was able to shoot using iron sights through the TR with a 5.48 sec run. Using and optic I was able to drop the the to just under 4 sec. The Compgun really had a good balance with the TR attached, the little weight it has with optic & light did in fact tame recoil. Very managable. The TR stayed solid on the gun, never moved as some mounter accessories do. The TR is machined very well, fits the gun perfectly. I will post some pics as soon as I can. Outstanding piece of work, and long overdue. Very impressive.
