Tacrail is Now Available

Saturday, October 11th, 2008

Yes the TacRail is available now for purchase…………..

Both the double rail and the lower only rail.

We have coated the inside of the TR with a tough pvc film. It will not scratch up your gun.

However, on the trigger guard, where the counter fastener pushes, it may leave a 2mm dot after much firing. *maybe.

I have a video on youtube if you want to see me bash it on a table about 4 times……it won’t move.

Its not solely based on the trigger guard, it also “clamps” to the dust cover…. It actually uses a triple anchoring system, then has tension/torque applied…….. It won’t come off……

If your serious about purchase shoot me an email………DW (you can do that through the contact box on www.survivalconsultants.com

Built for the 92F

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

The TacRail Model B was designed, engineered, built, tested, spec’d out specifically for the 92FS. It will fit so well it will seem as if it’s a complete solid piece of the pistol. It is designed not to mar the finish of the pistol.  It is currently being used in the sandbox by some very elite soldiers, and the love it.

Feel free to contact myself or Dave Woroner if you have any questions.

Be sure to check out our videos starting with this one: The Wor4 Tacrail

Couldnt help but hop on a sec and share “the direction we are headed in”.

Obviously, the TR on the Beretta M9 and then you will note the TR on the 1911? So whats with that you may be asking? Well, goood! Cause SCI / JPM is well on its way to having the 1911 version (and this version will be for “standard milspec 1911’s”. I was originally going to make this one first with the IPSC/IDPA crowd in mind. But, thought perhaps the M9, based on our current “Global Situation” would be best brought forward first.

SCI/JPM will be making the trek to Beretta USA to meet with V. DeNiro and (The Other Head Honcho’s.) to (fingers crossed) come to a mutually beneficial licensing agreement with Beretta USA/SpA.  David (Me) as well as Jeff from JPM and Bob B. (pb92) as SCI’s Tech. Advisor will all be heading for the Pow-Wow…………..And Im looking forward to being able to report alot more WOW than POW if you catch my drift. Best, DavidSo, for now anyway, till we have the full 1911 version worked out, let your mind “float on this”;    (sorry its a tad blurry )

Tacrail Production Update

Thursday, June 14th, 2007

Hello, although there are pictures of the tacrail on the SCI website, I like to post some of the ones I like here to share with folks. The creation, design, sla, tweaking in design, then to mfg, extrusion and then cnc process is a difficult one. It has been nearly a full year since the building process began. Before that I worked on the design myself for several years until I was reaching a point that it was time to go to professional industrial designers to do the design / cad build out. When that was done (6 months later) I met up w/ Jeff @ JP Machining and we started all over, working out specs and tweaks that go on and on until you get it right. So, needless to say…….this has been a long journey, and its not even out yet! The journey will continue, and that part of the journey should be the good part. Heres a couple of brand new pictures of the Tacrail being built (making final adjustments and tweaks before it goes into the anodizing process…..) Im looking forward to working with some folks whom have contacted me in bringing this further into the public arena. Best, David
